Hello,

I'm looking for information on the Ontario Northland GP40's.

First, I'm guessing they've got three, 2200, 2201 & 2202. is this correct?

Second, can anyone tell me the former identities of the locos (all previous owners & numbers)?

Okay, here goes...

ONT 2300 <-- HATX (Helm Leasing) 515 <-- GTI (Guilford) 311 <-- BM (Boston & Maine) 311
ONT 2301 <-- HATX 512 <-- GTI 300 <-- BM 300
ONT 2302 <-- HATX 510 <-- GTI 304 <-- BM 304

The above information comes from the 2009 edition of the Canadian Trackside Guide. You might consider obtaining a copy as it has the history of almost every locomotive active in Canada and much much more. The 2010 edition should be available in late March or early April.
