While recovering from a cold, I watched the 1995 made for TV verison of "Bye Bye Birdie" starring Jason Alexander and Vanessa Williams. The movie credits indicate it was filmed in British Columbia. A few scenes are filmed at a fictional Pennsy RR station, Sweet Apple, that is supposed to be in Ohio (although there are scenes of huge mountains not characteristic of the US midwest!). The operating RR equipment includes a Pennsy painted Alco RSD and observation car as the train to NYC. The RR looks like a tourist operation and I'm curious what the story is. Thanks.

BTW, the movie is a so-so remake of the original with Paul Lynde, Ann-Margaret Janet Leigh, et al.
