I have a question. Is the Algoma Central still functioning as a railroad? I can not find much on the web. I am just wondering about, how much freight they run. I did see a picture of a CN crane trying to rerail a engine. What was that derailment about.
Thanks for the help.

The Algoma Central was absorbed into Wisconsin Central in January, 1995. The Wisconsin Central was in turn absorbed by CN in October, 2001. CN still subletters some equipment WC, but I couldnt find any reference to AC sublettering.
