The LA&L family should be recieving ALCO C425 4264 shortly. The unit will be leaving the Morristown & Erie Railway for the WNYP / LA&L family.

Unit heritage is PVRX 4264, MCER / TJLX 4264, (resold via A&M), BN 4264, SP&S 326.

Since LAL likes 3 digit numbers for its Centuries, what will the C425 be? Possibly 464?

We won't know until we know. There is simply not telling what will happen until we are told otherwise.

Remember, what most of us like to think of as LA&L 427, 428 and 429 are still lettered LAL 319, 320, and 321 (these would be the three ex-GBW C424Ms)

Has anyone seen this unit leave M&E, or traveling to WNY, or is it still there?

I believe it is still in Morristown. I will double check at lunch today.
