A Sesquicentennial Community Lecture “The Erie Railroad.”: On Tuesday, January 16 at 7 pm the David A. Howe Public Library will host a free community lecture led by Andover historian Robert Baker.

Allegany County, NY is celebrating it's 200th birthday and this is part of a series of events being held in Wellsville. The David A. Howe Public Library is located in the middle of Wellsvilles business district part of Main St.. Just down lower Jefferson St., from the former Erie Passenger Depot.

Erie Railroad tracks in Wellsville are now operated by Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad.
