Anyone heading to Rutgers for the Mass Transit and Trolley Modelers meet? http://www.nycmodeltransit.org/

I went there a few years ago and saw so many items I have never seen anywhere else for sale. Like resin subway shells - In N scale or TARS cars in HO Brass.

It's always worth the ride and besides the RU Hungry truck is nearby. http://www.ruhungrynj.net/menu.html

I posted this in some of the other forums here as well.

Yes, I'm hoping to check this out. I was hoping to take the train but it looks too roundabout so I'll probably have to drive. Brooklyn via Staten Island looks like the fastest route. Is anyone else going that way that would like to carpool?

Actually I'm headed from Bergen County and I hope to make an early entrance there. Carpooling is a good idea, although it's not far from the Amtrak/NJ Transit NE Corridor station. A decent walk or short cab/bus ride will get you there. I think they hold this in New Brunswick to make traveling there by Bus/Rail easier than say the Raritan Center or the NJ Expo Center. Just saying if you wanted to leave the car at Seacaucus Junction and ride to New Brunswick it's probably be a lot easier than the drive, and if memory serves me correct, New Brunswick is going to be a nice place once all of the construction stops. There are more detours there......
