The Northern Ohio Association of Railroad Societies (NOARS) is coordinating this affair Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 in Cleveland.
The Van Sweringens built Cleveland Union Terminal and the Shaker Heights Rapid Transit, and also became involved with railroading by purchasing the Nickel Plate Road.
The AMC was the Advisory Mechanical Committee of the affiliated Van Sweringen railroads: NKP, ERIE, and C&O.
The NKPTHS, E-LHS, E-LDCPS, and C&OHS are participating in the Symposium.
