This just came up on the SEPTA forum and I thought it would be of interest here too. And this PA Railfan forum sure needs some action.
The CSX clearance project for double stacks through Philadelphia ( from the South Philly yard roughly to the Langhorne area) was finally done around the beginning of February. So the daily pair of CSX trains are no longer detouring out the Morrisville line to Abrams using the Wood connector, and then reversing to go along the river and over the highline to South Philly, and the reverse. Don't know the train numbers, someone here will.

And related, in that thread, the separation of SEPTA and CSX from Wood up to West Trenton is in full swing, and could be done in a few months it sounds like. Septa is getting a new track from Wood to Yardley, so they will have 2 and CSX will have 1, and from Yardley to West Trenton they each have 1 (going over the Delaware river). Still some uncertainty about how the configuration with the SEPTA yard and CSX at West Trenton will work out (at least to those of us who aren't in on the know), based on what people are saying in the thread.
