Hello everyone,

I would like to know what a Railroad Trainmaster does? And how come many railroad employees view them with disdain? Thanks

Trainmaster is a T&E supervisor, usually promoted out of ranks , their main job is T&E rules enforcements including radar, outside liaison during accidents, administratief assistent.

Usually promoted out of ranks?? Not anymore. They hire TM's straight out of college these days. They don't have a single clue how to railroad.
