Trackside camping

This summer I would like to take my son on his first camping trip. Since he LOVES trains, I figure a trackside camp would be fun. Yes I know about the noise and we are used to it where we live. I know about Hershey Park's campsite but was thinking something a little different. We live on Staten island in NYC and I don't mind a drive of 8 hours. I was thinking of Natural Tunnel State Park (I know the camp sites are not near the tracks) but would like some other ideas.
