Track/Siding work at Willows?!

Hi all

Last Sunday I noticed not only MBTA crews working at Shirley MA, but GUILFORD(!!!) crews working at Willows! I couldn't get a good look at was going on, so I did a few drive-bys and it appears they were not on the two main tracks, but one next to the ex-McDonalds warehouse. Could this be their old siding? If so, for what purpose would they be working on it?
