I love the photos, very well done, and I especially like the photo of the wheels next to the W post which must have meant the track remnant was actually part of the main and there was a road crossing beyond. Having grown up in Connecticut, I've always thought it was a shame that there was no direct rail connection between Hartford and Providence, but a rail trail is still a good thing because it keeps the A****** abutters from encroaching. And who knows what the future may hold?

No Russell - unfortunately I rode the trestle trail on a whim (after mountain biking in the morning at Burlingame) and didn’t know there was a wye there until recently when I discovered the valuation map. I wish I had known, as I enjoy discovering old remnants like that...
