Wisconsin Southern, best known for using former MILW E-units on their executive train, was recently purchased by Kansas-based WATCO. No layoffs or traffic changes are planned - you will probably still see WSOR freights operating over Metra MILW-north trackage at night.

What I'm more curious about is, what happens to the passenger fleet? Former owner and still president, Bill Gardner, has worked hard to assemble the train and it's not likely to survive without a patron like Mr. Gardner.
