Hello,

I am wondering what side of the track was the L&HR station located at in Chester. Was the station on the side of the track that Walter Johnson Building Supplies Company (later Chester Lumber) was located on? I am also interested to know when the station closed and when it was torn down.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Walter

Heading northeast towards Greycourt, the station and freight house sat on the left, there was a lumber company on the left as well for some time. Origianlly, the station sat on the opposite side of the tracks. The station was not torn down but moved around 1968 and currently resides in Sugar Loaf.
