“How Model Trains Are Made” is a new and exciting DVD that takes viewers on an around-the-world trip to see the complex process of building a train from conception to completion. Lewis Polk and Scott Polk of Aristo-Craft Trains lead this exciting and informative tour to Sanda Kan, one of the world’s largest model train factories, located in China.
I didn't think there were any Polks still alive, let alone active in the model railroad industry.

Otto:

Lewis is CEO and his wife is CFO of Aristocraft Trains. Their son Scott appears poised to takeover the family business, while brother Jonathon is a graphics artist in Cali, and is the webmaster for Aristo.

If you EVERY think you might be interested in garden railroading, the ECLSTS held annually in York PA is THE place to go where reps from EVERY large scale manufacturer are present, including the entire command staff from Aristo. The folks at Aristo created the show more than a decade ago in order to create a forum from which to grow the hobby.

This video promises to be an awesome feature.

I only know the Polks from when they operated what had to be the largest hobby shop in New York City. It was iconic. Been gone for about 15 years or more.
If you EVERY think you might be interested in garden railroading...
Not my thing, but thanks for the mention.
