I was watching a special on GCT, and it stated that the PRR owned Park Avenue and generated revenue by leasing air rights to buildings built above it in the past. Does anybody know what happened to those contracts?
The Park Ave NYC air rights never had anything to do with the Pennsylvania RR. The New York Central and successor Penn Central, had the rights.
The Penn Central, when broken up, had some air rights controlled by Midtown TDR Ventures LLC. specifically around GCT.
