Curious if anyone here worked for them and knew how much they pay. Also, do they have a good pension?

I got called for their electrical positions test…and was wondering.

I believe conductors make up to $28 or so a hour, and locomotive engineers make $31 or so. I believe they are engineers because they run along side Amtrak on the NEC. To this day they are still engineers. One nice thing about them is, I hear the only requirement to go for promotion, is to clear 90 days probation period. I hear their pension is pretty good, but i never really worked for them. Just tried and failed.

hope this helps

Was called for the equipment maint. position a few months back but turned it down because of the commute time (I live in Suffolk County LI). Most of the work is in NJ. They said it started at $20 per hour, hope this helps you out.
