ns conductor employment quest.....

given the extra board and no gar...given the current times, etc etc...what's the hrs you think one could expect as a conductor in a PA yard. Would hate to get no hours if i decide to sign up. I know this is vague but i've read so much would like some real feed back. I'm under the impression that the e/c is really picking up and there is always work.

Well when I was working for NS about 2 years ago the guys on the extra board were working between 4 and 6 days a week in Croxton. Out in PA they were just introducing the remote control, so that might have cut some jobs back. If you go with NS good luck, and watch out for the weed weasals.
