Silverlake Images LLC has teamed up with Carstens Publications to produce an exciting new line of railroad pictorials. The all-new “Lehigh Valley Diesel Pictorial” will be available in October 2013. This 112 page, full-color soft-bound book contains hundreds of photos of LV diesels in action, many never before published.

The new book includes representative photos of virtually every freight and passenger diesel the LV owned, from early boxcabs to later entries by EMC/EMD, Alco, Baldwin, GE, and more. This book includes a detailed roster and brief history of the railroad as well as a bonus feature on the famous Sayre Shops where these diesels were maintained until LV became part of Conrail in 1976.
