Top speed of a PLYMOUTH MTD ?

My employeer used to have a 25 ton Plymouth (MTD?) built in 1957.Because of bad track I never found how fast it could go,but was always curious about it's top speed.Could anyone venture a guess ? For sure it was faster then a 35 Ton GE. Thanks Joe G.

i have operated an MTD, at anything faster than 15 mph the machine assumed a rolling, pitching motion which was so unpleasant that we never could find out how fast it would go, but i was told by an older engineer that it reached 20

Ours could move three covered hoppers,that would be about 400 tons.Joe G.
