Just wondering if the Tobyhanna Depot still has anything delivered by rail? The small yard out front is usually empty and looking at live maps the spurs inbetween all the warehouses are still connected to the main but then the spur tracks are all removed (or paved over) 500' from the switches. There are no more spurs along the warehouses. I guess the depot after WWII and 'Nam the need for rail service diminished. I've seen historic rail cars parked in the yard a few times. The web site says their they are now an electronics repair facility. No longer artillary.

An interesting tidbit... Tobyhanna isn't a town, the town is Coolbaugh, Tobyhanna is just a section of it. Never knew that!

To the best of my knowledge the depot has not had any military rail traffic in many years. The last time I heard of any use of its tracks was when Steamtown had some excess rolling stock stored in the yard, and that was quite a while ago.
