Tie Replacement on the Lowell Line?

I'm seeing lots of bundles of ties up and down the Lowell Line. Anyone know when they're going to be doing this tie replacement? And where exactly? Obviously where I saw ties, but it's a big line.

I'm hoping they don't start till spring so i might get out and see some work being done.

If I remember right, they're starting in April, definitely not before March. Tower A to Wilmington.

Far more efficient to replace ties after snow is gone and frost is out of the ground, probably why April was chosen. But the way this winter has gone, they might be able to start early.

The later they start, the better it will be for my ability to observe :D
