through freights on the Ashuelot branch?

Were there ever through freights that used the Ashuelot branch connecting to the Cheshire, Nashua, and Conn river lines back in the day?

I never heard of any through freights being operating on the Ashuelot Branch. I have symbol books back to the early 1920s. I don't recall any stories of detours during blockages or washouts.
