Not sure why anyone would ride the RoW with an ATV with the tracks still in place....

It's not listed as part of the trail system, so use is probably a no-go.

Part of rail line in Redstone is the section 19 corridor, that's why the bridge across the Saco River east of Redstone is covered with wood planks. There's also a primary trail #230 that goes into Fryeburg.

I can understand people posting private property to keep people out but the Mountain Division ROW
belongs to the State of Maine, likely under the jurisdiction of Maine DOT. I haven't noticed Maine DOT
posting other railroad row that the State owns and doubt that signs posted by a third party would bear
any weight regarding the row itself. Recent action by the legislature confirms the intent is to covert
said row to trail use.

Does anyone have any updates or visuals on washouts of the Mt. Division after the horrific rain yesterday? Saw one picture from the CSRR of a washout near the Sawyer River, wondering if anywhere else along the line had similar issues.

Maine State Senator Rick Bennett periodically emails newsletters to his constituents about goings-on in Augusta.
The latest one arrived today and in it he's bragging about sponsoring LD-404 which authorizes the Mountain Division
Trail Project and included are links to the DOT study: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/de ... 21c18f5099
