Hello,

I am working with my friend Joe Cooney on building the virtual Middletown & Unionville (M&U) Railroad for Microsoft Train Simulator. The route also includes the M&U's connections with the Erie and O&W in Middletown. We are wondering if anyone has a map and/or photographs of the Erie mainline that went through Middletown, New York. It would be very helpful if the map showed the track layout before the 1950s when the Erie sold some land next to the passenger station. We are particularly in need of photos of the Erie freight house at "DW" yard located near the Erie passenger station.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Walter Conklin

here is the station building with 2 tracks in front of it, although Middletown had 4 at its Main station. (Don't forget the Main St Middletown station was used for the Erie, where it was 2 tracks.
