Hello All,
The Brooks Preservation Society is kicking off the 2009 excursion season on July 4th. Volunteers such as myself have been working on the old Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad for the better part of two years now. We are a non-profit organization and have purchased several pieces of old B&ML equipment. Combined with other equipment made available to us, we are about to re-open the old Bull Moose.
See the BPS website for more details!

See you on the rail!

I deleted my last post. I was going to come up this Sunday but I see it's a work weekend. I will not be in Maine when the next scheduled train is but maybe I can get up there some other time.

Wow, so the Belfast train is still up and running? I had heard from someone that they thought it was no longer running - was there a period where it was shut down?
