Hello All,
The Brooks Preservation Society is kicking off the 2009 excursion season on July 4th. Volunteers such as myself have been working on the old Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad for the better part of two years now. We are a non-profit organization and have purchased several pieces of old B&ML equipment. Combined with other equipment made available to us, we are about to re-open the old Bull Moose.
See the BPS website for more details!

See you on the rail!

As someone who greatly values tourist and scenic railroads as wonderful vehicles through which to remind the public of America's historic railroading past, I'm delighted when any such venture is restored or saved from oblivion.

Kudos.
