Tank cars vergennes vt

Was in town today and saw a long string of white tank cars by the feed mill. Are they in long term storage?

They wouldn't be in long term storage unless the paper industry is in the crapper.

On another thread- I think in the pan am forum- it was mentioned that the Maine mills are getting less kaolin because they have shifted away from white paper to other products

There are several yard tracks in St. J loaded with stored OMYA cars as well. Some have been there a few years.
