Where was the Syracuse Lighting Co's gas plant, circa the 1920s? I've looked at a few places and can't find a hit. I know there was a corporate building shown in postcards too. I don't want that building. Thanks.

I don't know if it lasted until the 1920's or not, but the first one was on what was Mechanic Street.

That's it. They owned several small Atlas AC electric locos to work the coke ovens (quenching) and in general around coal yard. There is no connecting RR (although the RWO is nearby on Franklin). Coal dock was on the Erie Canal towpath. Too bad Sanborn doesn't show any tracks in the facility.
