Strength test questions

Took my strength test yesterday. Hoping it went well the lady said it didnt matter if i bent my elbow during the test to help but everyone else seems to make it sound like you had to keep a straight arm so I'm worried. If i fail im gonna have to ask for a retake. Hope bending my elbows doesn't look like an inconsistency. The handle had spring on it allowing you to pull down Soo hopefully its ok. Anyone else pass this by bending the elbow?
