Last Saturday I travelled to to the Harrisburg area and took some shots of the old Bethlehem steel mills along the Susquehana. Although there were lots of gondolas parked within the plant I saw no rail movement. Does anyone know when there might be some locomotive activity in the plant ? Also i photographed Amtrak crossing the Swartara Creek in Middleton, great gracefull curved arches. I know this line also reaches Columbia for freight traffic, I think. Again, anyone know when I might see some freight activity here. I'd like to get a freight crossing that stone arch bridge. Thanks

A word of clarification, the Amtrak line in Middletown does not hook up with the Port Road through Columbia. The Port Road stays on the opposite side of the Susie-Q River, and of course, Amtrak starts parralelling the river a few minutes west of the Middletown shack.
