I did a quick check and couldn't find anything about this previously, so I wanted to post it here. I noticed in this aerial view:

what appears to be a locomotive tender in storage at the factory at the end of track off the former CNJ line through Easton. It is in front of what is perhaps an on-site locomotive shed. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Wow I was not aware of all the trackage in that factory area. Looks like a double switchback from the CNJ main to access it. That tender looks trapped though as there is now a chain link fence over the tracks. Anyone know when that track was last served? Shame to see manufacturing gone. The 1995 arials show a tank car spotted on the spur that goes off to the right.

notice the open gate in the parking lot just above the track. this can be open and closed as needed so cars can come in and out. i hear they can do it over tracks, too.
