In 1957 I attended the Boy Scout Jamboree in Valley Forge PA. I seem to remember several special trains were used to bring scouts to/from the jamboree using an industrial siding into the park. Any info or photos on this?

IIRC, "TRAINS" magazine had a couple of articles on Scout Specials; don't know if one was for that Jamboree or not.

Several years ago "Classic Trains" had an article on trains to the Valley Forge Jamboree.

None of the accounts I've read mentioned using the Port Kennedy RR, which was the industrial siding into the park. Reading Company trains stopped at Valley Forge station, and Pennsylvania RR trains stopped at Betzwood station, across the bridge from the Reading Company's Port Kennedy station, at the other end of the park. In later years, Pennsylvania RR Scouts may have been bused from the Norristown station.
