I like the paint on the 4000 series AC traction conversions. It's a refreshing change from the basic black and white.

WPCA51 had a hi-hood leading yesterday, along with NS 3026, pulling 1 box car and 18 stone loads.

Today's WPCA51 had 3026 leading the 5207, pulling 6 box cars, 1 load of sheet rock, and 5 loaded articulated flats for the CMSL.

Any pictures?

CMSL has stored trash flats in the past.

Was the combined train a result of power issues or is this a sign that there might be combined trains moving forward?

A local railfan said that 39G's power was laid up at Pavonia.

-CSX C759 left Pavonia Yard this afternoon (1/12) with ex Conrail GP40-2 #4419 (still in YN2 paint) leading two ES44AC-H's. Seen here from the River Rd overpass. The Delair Bridge can be seen in the distance:

-Some "Big Power" on NS 39G this morning, in the area's first snowfall of the year!

Leading was NS #7223 (SD80MAC) which was originally built for Conrail in 1996, and acquired by NS from CSX in 2015:

The trailing unit was NS #3656 (ET44AC) which was built for Norfolk Southern in February on 2017:

It appears another combined 60N 39G just rolled past West Conshohocken. At least it looked like it. 50-70 gons up front and 30-50 mixed freight in the back.

Paulsboro is loading "loose" cars for a 2nd plant. They do not go to the same place as 60N/61N

Sorry to cross post but not sure how many follow the CMSL thread.

Things are not looking good for the P-RSL Wildwood Junction station. You may want to get your pictures now.

-NS 39G sported a colorful engine line-up this dreary morning at Cove Rd.
Two of the special paint schemed AC44C6M units (#s 4000 & 4005) made up the power for the empty manifest train.

Some operational changes around South Jersey ... CR crews I've been running transfer cars over to Frankford Junction and coming back with outbound cars for Pavonia ... another change is NS wants the G out across the river early because they have been getting delayed lately leaving late morning, so CR crews have been taking the train over to ROCK ...

today had CA-05 on #2 Running and CA-15 dbler crew on #1"Running with 39G's train ...
