Friday morning on the Philly Sub. started off with D732 racing west with 3 engines and 8 boxcars. Next up was Q173 with the approach at E. Feltonville because D729 was not yet in the clear at the west end. Third is Q703 working hard with a relatively short train. Fourth is the Q406 with a classic GP40-2 leader and The Spirit of Grafton third. The last train for me was Q370. Check out the video.

Last Saturday my wife and I were at Rochester Yard with the baby and I got some quick "grab shots" before the sun went down. I couldn't get the link to work but if you click on the blog link below they'll be the ones that pop up first.

Here's Q409 heading past the old West Englewood depot (all that's left are the structures over the pedestrian underpass) in Teaneck NJ.

Supposedly the singer Phoebe Snow grew up right here, and took her name from seeing the Lackawanna box cars going by on the freights.

Here are some shots from Monday's outting in the Cumberland environs.

First up Q249 at Mance with Cumberland helper D255 on the back.
