This is the best I can do for right now.
*Sorry I can't figure it out, I'll have to PM it to you and maybe you know how to upload it. I sent it to your trainworks site, best I can do.

I have a photocopy of some kind of old map of Seward. I do not know if it's an old deed or what.....I scanned it last night, though, if you want a copy. It is labelled D&H RR Real Estate Dept. or something to that effect. It is an old copy, but I am familiar with the area, from going up there so...
Brian, Have you been able to obtain any photos from the line while it was still active? Maybe I already asked you that, but I don't remember. I understand there are pictures available in the New York State Archives in Cooperstown, near the Farmer's Museum? Maybe someone else here can give you more d...
So where do you stand with the progress on this project? Are you looking to make it an articale in a magazine or an actual book? What's the timetable?
Wish I could help, good luck.....

yeah I know right? I just asked the Same question on the D&H Yahoo group
I think it had something to do with a cab fire. Then it was rebuilt.

Have you made any progress with whatever you were writing about this branch?
Speaking of radius, is the track measured center to center, or outside edge to outside edge or inner rail to inner rail. I would assume center to center, but who the heck knows, right?

Athearn announced the other day 4 AC440's in 'Fantasy' paint schemes, as Tower 55 was doing. So there is some hope there that you still may see a D&H scheme on a modern engine. I sent them an eMail but they never replied. Maybe if they get a few requests, you may see an SD or a GE Wide Cab in D&...
I recently had a problem with an SD60M, but it turned out to be the contacts to the trucks. It wasn't a hard thing to fix, but for me, when you spend that kind of money, you shouldn't have to do that. It has to do with the clips that hold the wires to the contacts on the truck assemblies, and a litt...
Use cork roadbed, or even Homasote, which is a greyish colored board that comes in a sheet like plywood would; I've used both with sucess. You can also use 2" extruded foam board which comes in 2x8 sections; it also comes in 1" or 1/2" thickness, but if you use 2" you can cut riv...
EZ Track I think is 100 --> If you go with flex Track, solder the ends of a pair of them into one 6' section while straight, then when you lay the track, the curve WILL be much smoother; No kinks.....

Code is rail height; 83 is said to be more prototypical, but 100 has deeper flange ways, due, of course, to the height of the rail. The Code 83 is more to scale, the ties are smaller, but more proportionately correct. I use mostly 100, with 70 for sidings and branch lines, and some 55 for industrial...
I didn't realize Atlas had HO Code 100 in 28" Radius, Shinohara does, which was my only reason for suggesting that. Flextrack would work as well, but I happen to prefer a manufactured radius in some cases. As far as Flex Track and Turnouts, I also use mostly atlas, unless I need curved turnouts...
IF you're going to put a grade in it go with the Woodland Scenic Incline Sets. Don't bother with the Atlas incline sets. Woodland Scenics are a set incline, and can be scenicked, far more prototypical, AND probably would cost you only slightly more than the Atlas piers in the end You'll probably ha...
