What's the purpose of speed limits like 79 mph, or 59 mph, instead of 60 or 80?

You may find that when you butt up two pieces edge to edge, they vary in thickness. Yes, I found that out! The edges are not of uniform thickness. I also found out that homasote will sag, even when supports are close together. I am currently adding supports in many places to level out the sags. But...
I've had god luck with a thin grey wash, which seems to settle into the cracks between the bricks. I then wipe off the wash from the bricks. Works OK for me.
