Looking back, it would have been nice for the third track to have been extended all the way to North White Plains as that is one of the busiest stretches of the Harlem Line, although trains do turn at Crestwood and other place down the line. I would use this money to rebuild the Republic station. Money for planning and construction was part of the 2015-2019 plan, but the construction was pushed to 2020-2024. That station would actually see traffic. I would also consider adding a stop at Nichols Road for a connection with BRT.

Using the distance feature in Google My Maps, the platforms clearly are 10-cars long. I do not know why someone working on timetables at Metro-North would say 12 cars when they can clearly only fit 10. I digress.
