Thanks for the info. The building was always a landmark while driving on Rt. 81. I built a mock-up for my model railroad and didn't know how it was served by rail. I am not modeling Binghamton though, just always liked the way the building looked with the red and black logo.

What was the Agway elevator at the Bevier St. yard used for, did it ship loaded cars or receive loaded cars? Was it grain or feed or maybe fertilizer?

Can anybody confirm that CSX is thinking about double tracking the River Line from North Bergen to Selkirk? A CSX track worker at Valley Cottage told me that last week.

Did anyone else see the caboose being moved today? It was a red northeast style caboose heading north through Valley Cottage, NY in a mixed freight train. Don't know what train it was and I was so surprised to see it that I forgot to write down the reporting marks. It passed throug Valley Cottage at...
