Since I started this thread, I'd like to continue to post pics but am having trouble with this web site.
I'm getting a blue band stating "imgur is temporarily over capacity. Please try again later."
Is anyone else having this issue ?

Speaking of Montauk service, is overcrowding still an issue post pandemic ?

I don't think then LIRR will be leasing those MARC coaches, although they were a hit with rail fan photographers.

I remember the dumping of "redbirds" but yes, subway cars were being dumped in the early 1960's.

I posted the above image on another site and received a response that these elevated cars as well as IRT Lo-Vs were scrapped in Holban yard.

I would love to see pictures if they exist.
