Glad to hear that Sandy - I figured that was the case. Given it's highly visible location they likely rightfully assumed it might walk during transit. I was by the enginehouse on Wednesday and the BL-2 and a comet coach were up on the old Interchange Track 3. Does anyone know are they trying to finish up 489(?) first then start on the BL-2? 4216 was out at Jefferson Road, did they hit a snag in putting her back on the road?

7215 is sitting, and has been, in the siding at the junction. Does anyone know what happened ton 7210 and the other all black 72XX? I remember there being discussion of them being leased out and possibly sold but don't remember a definitive conclusion.

The other all black ME Unit is 7205 (ex Erie Mining 7212) No clue where that went. It could have been leased out by the RRPX it was the RS-11 that didnt get lettered in the ME livery. Last I saw the 7205 was not lettered at all. The last time I saw 489 it didnt even have her engine put back in yet..... and the 4216 I can only hope they get running soon. I am still curious what the ME is going to do with 22......

489 doesn't have a prime mover? I just assumed it went back up in the summer...
22 is in the Runaround along with 559, a passenger car, and what I think is a flatcar. I haven't been up that way in a few weeks, and every time I would pass, things would be moved, so I'm not sure what's there now.

From what I understand, the proper reporting marks are "SBRR" as "LASB" would be the old Lackawaxen & Stourbridge, a DO property. Or am I splitting hairs?

Otto, I'm 99% sure the reporting marks are SBRR
They are..

As for the 22, if you are referring to the former MEC/GTI GP7, as far as I know that is still privately owned.. Perhaps Al can confirm or deny that for us...

Thanks for confirming "SBRR" as I've seen some people label their current pictures "LASB."

Speaking of current pictures, I swung my Morristown this morning, the 54 must be moved inside, as there was nothing outside except for ME 489 and a modernized hw coach.

Otto,

The BL-2 traded places in the shop with FL-9 489, probably on 2/18/10. I photographed 489 outside on 2/18 around noon and 54 was inside then.

What about the 487 and 4240? The 487 hasn't moved in months, and I was there twice in two weeks, and 4240 had only moved over one track...

Otto - when were you there? I had to wait for a friend this morning and sat in the Staples parking lot reading. I was there from 8:00 till a little after 9:00.

487 is the one all the way in back on Track 4? It's been a lawn ornament there for the better part of a year - I think the brought it in to get some parts from it.

Yeah, 487 is in the back of track 4.
As of the 11th, the 4240 was on track 4, infront of the 487 and behind the SOU bulkhead flat. 563 was on track 5.

So where did they put 4240 and 563? Considering that the 4240 looked the same on 1/27 and 2/11 (although moved from 5 to 4), I doubt they killed the rest of it off that quickly...
