I just received my renewal for the Maybrook Railroad Historical Society and was saddened to hear that Allesandro "Sam " Christiano passed away on Sept.21st 2009. I talked to Sam a few times in Maybrook and enjoyed our talks and knowledge of railroads & Maybrook. Sam was married to his beautiful wife Doris.
Sam worked for the New Haven Railroad ,Penn Central , & Conrail as a Brakeman.
Our thoughts & prayers to Sam & his family .
