New Job marked up in Browns @1130p M-F. However its Main work is going out to releive the SA-33 on the Dayton Branch as this work has become very heavy.

We had to pick up 4 cars on the Hightstown Ind that the SA-31 left on the return trip to Browns sat morning.

I remember when the train hit a garbage truck in Dayton about ten (or more) years ago. Quite a mess.

The job usually ran to Freehold on Wednesdays in the early 1990's. It was an easy chase from Browns to Jamesburg, and even better towards Freehold. Power was a single Geep 38 or a B23-7.

Highlights at Browns Yard in the old days were the morning arrival of the daily drag freight from Oak Island (OI-61?) with big six-axle power, and CCAL departing. Best spot to see them was at Waterworks.

I wasn't there for the electrified days. That must have been some sight with long freights coming off the corridor.
