Rt 208 bridge over former L&HR in Maybrook, NY

Does anyone know if Route 208 use to cross the L&HR at grade level in Maybrook, NY? If Route 208 did use to meet the L&HR at grade level, where the bridge is now in Maybrook, does anyone know when Rt 208 got elevated to cross over the former L&HR?

Not exactly sure, but historic aerials show it at grade 1957 overpass by 1959.

Prior to creating this thread, I consulted the historical topographical maps at http://www.historicaerials.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and could not tell whether Route 208 crossed the L&HR at grade.

Hi Walter,
there never was a grade crossing where Route 208 overhead bridge is now. It was put up in the 1930's
