The Mt. Moriah loop is pretty unnecessary as there are no route connections there. If trolleys get backed up due to an obstruction it can be used to get trolleys back on schedule.

Septa's plans for bus routes and trolleys are eliminating a lot of the multiple endpoints for simplicity.

The 41st and Girard Ave. loop could be more useful but not until Septa replaces all the trolleys with new light rail vehicles. I've always wanted a version of the 15 that used the Center City tunnel.
