My personal fav was the old (and I mean old 35+ years on the rails) switchman I worked with in Roper who was the controlling RCO, and would tie a skidder and manipulate and un-couple cars with his right foot all while starting and stopping the locomotive. Of course he never go on or off of moving eqpt.
