These photos were taken during the NRHS National Convention in Rochester, New York in 1949.

This Plymouth critter, L-2, is preserved at the New York Museum of Transportation, awaiting restoration. This view is at the General Motors loop/yard near Driving Park and Lee Road.

This Peter Witt style street car was donated to the Rochester Museum and Science Center in 1941 when all streetcar service was abandoned. It lay forlorn it its lot for years until it was deemed excess and of no use to the museum. The Museum sold swings of a sledge to members as part of a fundraiser, from what I was told. The car was removed and scrapped sometime after this photo was taken in 1949.
