The publication "Rochester History" is now available in PDF form... they are straight scans of the orginals, so you cannot edit or search the text.

The table of contents for these are fairly thorough. I've used it for 2-3 years now. It can be very time consuming though reading through one of those documents trying to find the reference you're looking for.

Railroad references come up in odd places: topics on geology, women's rights. Sometimes it's a great little tidbit, other times it's very generalized.

The interesting reading is the footnotes listing all the sources used to compile the article... lots of good leads there!
