Hi all, I usually post on the LIRR thread in NY. I was wondering if any one has an approximate date as to when the RS retired their Alco C420 fleet? Many thanks to whomever does.
Thumbing thru old magazines I stumbled across a a news item and photo in the June 1992 issue of Railfan
with a photo of ex R&S C420 1801 in service on the Lackawanna Valley RR at Scranton, PA on 3 Feb 1992.
Surprised there isn't roster/ disposition info somewhere.
