Service east of Atlantic Highlands to Highlands ended in the 1950s, I think. Service east of Highlands to Sea Bright and West End, Long Branch ended long before that, maybe in 1940 or so? You can still see the bridge piers though, just north of the highway bridge.

My dad and I walked along Bay Avenue between AH and H a few years ago. You can still see the station steps and some concrete for the water Witch station. (Can you imagine NJT trying to name something Water Witch today? The fundamentalists would have a field day0

Well, either way, we know that we are talking about the "wonderful" Chemical Coast. I like seeing action there. Always plenty of tank cars....
